What happened to Lizzie Lovett?  It's a mystery readers of the Abilene Public Library can unravel by participating in the world's largest global eBook reading club called the Big Library ReadChelsea Sedoti's debut novel, The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett, has been selected as the featured title for millions of readers around the world to read at the same time beginning Thursday, October 12 and concluding October 26.  Abilene Public Library patrons will be able to borrow the eBook by visiting our OverDrive collection.  Big Library Read is facilitated by OverDrive, the leading platform for eBooks and audiobooks across libraries everywhere.

We're excited to be able to participate in this popular series.  It's the best way to be introduced to new authors and share in the experiences of reading as a community.  Connect with local readers or expand your network with others across the nation and world.  This reading initiative is designed to foster collaborative reading and discussion in readers everywhere.

Big Library Read is an international reading program that connects millions of readers around the world simultaneously with an eBook through the library.  Readers can join an online conversation about the book at Big Library Read.  All it takes to participate is a valid Abilene Public Library card.  If you don't have one, learn how to get yours online.  The featured title can be read on all major computers, tablets, smartphones, and eReaders and best yet, you don't have to worry about wait lists or holds.  Copies will always be available for you to access.  Once the title expires, the eBook will disappear.  Like all materials in this collection, you never have to worry about late fees.
